Selection Criteria & Timetable

Selection criteria

The Scholarship Selection Committee of the ILSPSD Consortium assesses each application according to the following criteria:

  • Academic merit – 50%
  • Supporting personal statement – 30%
  • Quality of (academic) references – 10%
  • Other interests, (work) experiences, etc. – 10%

Selection timetable

November 2025 Online application form becomes available
1 February 2026 Deadline for all scholarship applications
March/April
The applicants receive preliminary notification of results
Mid April
The Consortium submits its scholarship candidates proposal to the agency
April/May
The scholarship applicants on the main list and reserve list receive the final results of their applications after the Consortium has received the final approval on selection from the European Commission
1 May Deadline for self-funding applications
